Some of these you can’t get in UK from supermarkets and butchers are few now
We’ve been feeding our 2 year old bernedoodle ground beef, heart, dried liver, dehydrated chicken feet (we always watch him eat these since I know they can be dangerous since they are dried) fish oil, occasional turkey neck and good sourced multivitamin it’s a pain but his coat looks amazing and his energy levels are excellent! We’ve tried chicken meat but it doesn’t sit well so this year we are planning on switching to pork since ground beef is expensive and probably a little too high in fat content. I know it’s better than kibble at least and we’re trying our best😭
How about meats for allergic dogs? My Obi only eats fish.
My dog has developed more severe allergies and I don’t know why. He’s always had Doritos paws but over the last month, it’s gotten worse with licking the paws (he never licked them before even though they smelled like Doritos), he’s head shaking a little more but the most significant change is his body smell….hes never had that and it’s strong. I assume it’s the yeast that’s causing it and also causing dander. He’s eaten chicken and beef mainly all his life. He just turned 8 yesterday. I’ve changed to a new food without chicken and beef but no change yet….its been several weeks. I’ve done kibble and freeze dried most of his life but switched to Dr Marty’s human grade food ever since he got worse. What do you suggest?
I want my chihuahua to eat raw. I’ve tried so many things. I have even tried the gently raw diets and she won’t touch them. She will be 3 in April. Any suggestions? I try every so often, hoping she will change her mind but no luck.
