Is there a preferred brand of over grip?
Similar to the alcohol method, I used “old-fashion” hairspray. When I worked at a bike shop, that’s how we installed all kinds of grips. Spray the hairspray on the handle and inside the grip, slide on, then when it dries, it has a tackiness that also helps hold it in place.
PS. Throw away the strips unless you really like frustrating yourself, LOL.
Would be easier to see if it was closer.
